Application Programming's primary function includes, but is not limited to being
responsible for most of the existing software applications running on the Clerk's
systems. In many instances this involves being the liaison between a software
provider and various members of the clerk's staff to resolve problems. In some
cases it involves the upgrade from older computer systems or manual systems to
new applications. In other cases it involves the evaluation, design, programming,
testing and implementation of new computer applications.
