Probate & Guardianship E-Filing Administrative Order
In order to provide parties and attorneys better access to court records, in order to improve efficiency in the Clerk & Comptroller's office, and in order to facilitate the processing of cases by the Court, the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller, with the endorsement of the Chief Judge, submitted an e-filing plan to the Supreme Court for approval pursuant to Rule of Judicial Administration 2.090 on March 16, 2005.

Case Types Available for E-Filing
- New Estate Cases as of 11/01/05
- New Incapacity Cases as of 11/01/05
- New Guardianship Cases as of 11/01/05
Clerk & Comptroller Fees for Non Subscribing Parties/Attorneys
On cases that are required to be electronically filed, the following fees will apply for documents submitted in conventional format to the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller's office for filing through LexisNexis File and Serve at the public access computer located in the lobby of the Probate Department.
Pleadings and documents in hard copy (paper):
- $.15 per page, plus $6.00 per case at the time of each document filing
- Multiple documents filed on the same case at the same time may be filed for one $6.00 fee, plus $.15 per page for every page filed
Diskette or CD:
- $6.00 per case at the time of document filing
- Multiple documents filed on the same case at the same time may be filed for one $6.00 fee, and there is no $.15 per page for documents submitted in an electronic format
- Documents filed on multiple cases on the same diskette or CD will be assessed $6.00 per case, with no $.15 per page fee
There is no additional fee from Lexis Nexis File and Serve on these documents for using the public access computer located in the Probate Department's lobby to file electronically.
If you have an escrow account with the Pasco County Clerk and Comptroller's office, you may request any applicable fees to be debited from that account.
