The Board Payroll Department is responsible for all aspects of preparing,
processing and reporting the Board of County Commissioners' employees' payroll.
Board Payroll audits and keypunches timesheets, edits the payroll processing,
and processes all Direct Deposit receipts and payroll checks. The Department
maintains all records in accordance with the State of Florida records and
retention schedules. The Department is responsible for reporting Federal
taxes, FICA taxes and year-end W-2s for all employees. The Department also
processes all health, life, and disability premium payments, Florida Retirement
contributions, and numerous employee benefit programs.
