The Clerk's Finance Department processes all financial activities prescribed to
the Clerk of the Circuit Court, proper, in accordance with Florida Statutes and
sound business practices, and maintains all related accounting records. This
includes, but is not limited to, the processing of: daily receipts and deposits;
child support payments; interest allocations and payments; payments to the State of
Florida and municipalities, as well as to vendors; jury and witness payrolls; and
receipts and disbursements of funds held in the Court Registry. The Department also
provides a number of support functions related to carrying out these
responsibilities, such as supplies allocation, dishonored check processing, and
maintenance of escrow/accounts receivable accounts with outside firms and agencies
that use the services provided by the Clerk.
