EXPEDITE

You will apply for your passport in the same manner as a regular passport. Normal passport processing time is approximately 12 weeks or more. If you need it quicker, EXPEDITE is the answer.

To EXPEDITE your passport follow the directions for passport and then:

• ADD $74.85 to the check or money order payable to the U.S. Department of State which covers the expedite fee ($60) and overnight return delivery ($14.85).

         AND

• Bring one postage paid Express Mail envelope with mailing labels from the Post Office ($16.50 postage) for submitting applications.

NOTE: When a group is expediting multiple passports, bring one large postage paid overnight envelope for submitting applications.

Processing time for an expedited passport application is 4 weeks or more from the date of application.

Passports are issued by the U.S. Department of State and not the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court. The majority of passports are sent to the Miami office for processing.
