If you already have a passport and it has expired, or is about to expire, you MAY be able to renew your passport by mail.

• If you have an ADULT passport and it was issued within the last 15 years you may renew it by mail.



• If the passport was issued to a child, under the age of 16 it will be treated as a new passport and the PASSPORT APPLICATION would be used.

Passports are issued by the U.S. Department of State and not the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court. The majority of passports are sent to the Miami office for processing.
