Financial Services
Financial Services provides budgetary, accounting, and financial reporting services for the Board of County Commissioners and the Office of the Clerk & Comptroller. The Department's duties include processing payroll, disbursing payments on contracts and purchases made within budgetary guidelines, investing surplus county funds, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report of Pasco County, the Financial Statements of the Board of County Commissioners and the Clerk & Comptroller, and various state reports.

Inspector General
As the Chief Financial Officer of Pasco County, Florida, the Clerk & Comptroller is custodian of County funds and is responsible for the collection, safe depositing, investing, expenditure, and distribution of these funds in accordance with law and administrative regulation. The Department of Inspector General conducts audits of departments or functions of the Board of County Commissioners and the Clerk & Comptroller's Office to assess and mitigate risk, evaluate internal controls, and review compliance with the laws and regulations.
