Black type in various sizes on white form offering a copy of property owner's deed for $89.

Good to know:
Alert Pasco residents are -- once more -- notifying our Office about solicitations (seen here) to purchase copies of their deeds they have lately received from an outfit calling itself  "Property Records Office." We thank them for their vigilance.
The title may sound official, but it is anything but. For openers, it's not the Pasco County Clerk of Court. It's not even a government agency. IInstead, i is a sly operation hoping to buffalo the unsuspecting into parting with cash -- $89 in this case -- for something available absolutely, positively, 100% free from our Office.
It's utterly true that your deed is an official record, an arrangement that is in the interest of the public and the property owner. But the copy the solicitors are offering is available free on our website,, or can be claimed by visiting one of our locations and paying a nominal copying fee.
Only if a property owner needs a certified copy (for selling the property, or refinancing a mortgage, for instance), does the charge go up -- all the way to $1 per page, plus $2 for certification. Note that the solicitor is not offering a certified copy of your deed.
The best place for your Property Records Office solicitation is in the recycling bin and out of your life.
Meanwhile, you can achieve further peace of mind -- again, free -- by signing up for property fraud alerts.
