The Office of the Clerk & Comptroller is authorized to protect certain information through the process of redaction (obscure with a black box) and uses a combination of computer programs and human review to accomplish this important task. Should you find a document, or portion of a document, you believe requires protection of personal, confidential, or sensitive information, we offer a guide help you determine the appropriate process and/or form to complete to request redaction of your document(s). No fees are charged for these services.
Additionally, official records exemptions are offered (see Florida Statues 28.2221 and Florida Statues 119.071) for certain protected individuals.
