NEW PORT RICHEY, FL ---- Whether you’re paying a traffic fine or any other payment involving a criminal case, we’ve got you covered. You can still pay by traditional means, physically coming to one or our locations or mailing in your payment. Now, you have several additional options.
The Clerk’s Office is now using PayChoice. PayChoice is an online payment portal which accepts credit and debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, ApplePay, Venmo and e-checks.
Clerk & Comptroller Nikki Alvarez-Sowles explains the move is aimed at improving the experience for our customers. “We know everyone leads busy lives. Some are carting their sons and daughters to events, others are working hectic schedules,” said Alvarez-Sowles. “We don’t want our customers to experience unnecessary worry when it comes to their financial obligations or fines.”
Recently, the Clerk’s Office also announced its partnership with Amscot. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to pay a traffic fine, but don’t have a traditional bank account, you can visit your local Pasco County Amscot branch.
