Unclaimed Funds Social Post 2024

DADE CITY, FL --- You may be among the thousands of Pasco citizens and businesses who have cash waiting to be claimed. We at the Pasco Clerk & Comptroller’s Office are holding more than $300,000 dollars in unclaimed funds.

Our Finance Department is reporting $151,486.78 are in the Clerk’s Office’s coffers and $186,471.51 are in the County’s. We have published the list of who all those dollars belong to on our website: https://www.pascoclerk.com/150/Annual-Unclaimed-Funds-Publication

Some individuals and businesses are entitled to just a few dollars, others are entitled to thousands. If you find your name on either the County’s or the Clerk’s Office’s unclaimed funds list, you have until September 1st to complete the paperwork to claim your money. There are detailed instructions on how to do that in the link above.

Clerk Nikki Alvarez-Sowles hopes people will check to see if their names are on the list, “More than 2400 citizens and businesses have unclaimed funds with our Office that they have either forgotten about or never knew was theirs,” said Alvarez-Sowles. “We want to bring awareness and provide the path for them to reclaim their funds.”
