TALLAHASSEE, FL -- Senate Bill 268, effective 07/01/2025, provides exemptions from public records requirements for the partial home addresses and telephone numbers of current Congressional Members and Public Officers per Florida Statutes 119.071(4) from documents in the Official Records. A separate redaction request should be submitted for each person seeking redaction. For example, a Congressional Member, their spouse, and their children are entitled to redaction. However, individual requests should be submitted for the Officer, the spouse, and each child. If a child is younger than 18, the Officer or the spouse must sign the child’s request. Children 18 and older must sign their own requests.

Fill out a request using the Request for Redaction of Information Pursuant to F.S. 119.071 – Protected Status form. This form must be notarized.

Requests may sent by mail or in person:14236 6th Street, Suite 201, Dade City, FL 33523, or 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34654, or via email: redact@pascoclerk.com.

Note: Applicants must identify the Official Records Book & Page Number or Instrument Number and the exact wording to redact as it appears on the instrument. Without this information, the request cannot be processed. Applicants may search official records to locate documents pertaining to them. Search for the recorded document by person or company name, the book and page number of the recorded document, or by instrument number.
