An amendment to F.S. 28.2221- Electronic access to official records, effective July 1, 2024, requires each county recorder or clerk of the court to make publicly available on their official website the identity as well as the fact that a final judgment for an injunction for the protection of a minor under F.S. 741.30, F.S. 784.046, or F.S. 784.0485 has been entered against that respondent, unless the respondent is a minor. Any information not made available by the county recorder or clerk of the court before July 1, 2024, must be made publicly available on the official website if the affected party identifies the information and requests that such information be added for general public display.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO SEARCH THE DATABASE:

2. To conduct the search, input the individual's last name followed by their first name. You can also search by a partial name or keep the field empty to retrieve all entries.
3. The results will populate under the search bar with the Name, Instrument, Date, Book/Page, Case Number, and Document.
REQUEST THE ADDITION OF INFORMATION ADDED FOR GENERAL PUBLIC DISPLAY
The information related to the identity of each respondent against whom a final judgment for an injunction for the protection of a minor under F.S. 741.30, F.S. 784.046, or F.S. 784.0485 is entered is available for search by the general public. Any person has a right to request that a county recorder or clerk of the court add information to the searchable database on the county recorder’s or clerk of the court’s official a publicly available Internet website if that information involves the identity of a respondent against whom a final judgment for an injunction for the protection of a minor is entered, unless the respondent is a minor.
- Such request must be in writing and must identify the case number assigned to the protective injunction and be personally delivered by mail, facsimile, or electronic transmission to the county recorder.
