e-Recording

E-Recording is the process of submitting, receiving, and processing documents via the Internet through a third-party vendor. Submitters are required to adhere to national electronic recording standards. All that is necessary is a computer, scanner, and internet connection to convert original documents to an electronic format to submit them through a third-party vendor. 

To begin e-Recording:

For higher volume customers, such as title companies, banks, attorneys, lien filers, and others who frequently submit documents to the Clerk & Comptroller's Office, we offer filings through the following third-party contracted vendors:

For lower volume customers, the following vendors provide submission of specific document types, such as Notice of Commencements and lien or claim-related documents, to the Clerk & Comptroller's Office:
