The intent is primarily to aid in the selection or completion of pre-approved forms that enable you to represent yourself in a legal matter. Attorney appointments do not establish an attorney-client relationship. The interactions are NOT confidential and may be subject to disclosure at a later date.
The information provided may include the following:

- Information about mediation and required parenting courses
The personnel from Bay Area Legal Services in the Legal Resource Center are not acting as your lawyer or providing legal advice to you. They are not acting on behalf of the court or any Judge. Additionally, they cannot provide you legal advice, tell you what your legal rights or remedies are, represent you in court, or tell you how to testify in court.
