Treasury Management

As custodian of county funds, the Clerk & Comptroller invests surplus public funds, producing the best and safest possible returns, ultimately reducing the burden on taxpayers. Treasury Management is responsible for managing the county's banking relationships and cash forecasting process.

An investment professional proactively manages the County's portfolio to maximize investment earnings, while ensuring that tax dollars are protected. The Pasco County Investment Policy governs investments and provides guidelines related to risk management and reporting requirements. The policy is based upon requirements in the Florida Statutes.
